About

These guides exist because I needed them — and they didn't.

Three years ago, I lost my mother to breast cancer. In the months that followed, my life changed completely. I became a caregiver to my father, who needed more support than ever. And at the same time, I was still raising my kids — still showing up for school pickups, still trying to hold everything together.

Nobody tells you what that feels like. The exhaustion of being needed by everyone. The guilt of never feeling like you're doing enough for anyone. The endless decisions you have to make — about care, about safety, about the future — without a roadmap.

I searched for resources that were actually useful. What I found was either too clinical, too generic, or buried in information I had to dig through to find the one thing I actually needed.

So I created The Essential Guides.

Each guide is written for real people navigating real situations — caregivers, families planning for the future, anyone trying to figure out what comes next. They're practical, honest, and designed to give you exactly what you need without making you read through everything you don't.

If you're holding something heavy right now, I see you. These guides are for you.
